Growing up in Northern Germany in the 1980s, I was curious and eager to learn. No book remained untouched, and no opportunity to travel was missed. It would be fair to say I didn’t quite fit in, which, of course, made me doubt myself. However, I also had a little warrior within me, longing to explore, expand, and change the world. I believed that if people were more content in their lives, the world could be a better place.
At university, I tried to understand why people struggle to change and overcome obstacles. My mind was constantly racing as I studied Sociology and Psychology and began to explore the reciprocal dynamics between individuals and society. I lived in Leipzig before moving to Berlin, where I stayed for almost 20 years.
Equipped with my Master’s degree, I was still searching for a way to make an impact. I began to realise that talking and thinking alone do not provide a way forward. So I continued to explore alternative ways to encourage and empower people. Until one day, I found myself in the right place at the right time. Was it coincidence, fate, destiny, or simply luck? I met someone who introduced me to somatic bodywork. Soon after, I met their teacher—and that one hour changed my life.
I knew, in every cell of my body: this was it. For the first time, I felt seen, understood, heard, and held. This was what I had been searching for: connection, communication, compassion, and change. A direct, immediate, and deeply caring approach that enables transformation, integrates the past, and focuses on the future.
After four years of structured and guided learning, I achieved the Certified Grinberg Method Practitioner Diploma (2012). Over time, as with all meaningful approaches, I also encountered their limitations. Combined with my natural desire to learn and think critically, to grow and evolve, I continuously explore different approaches to personal growth and healing, as I do not wish to limit either myself or my clients’ journeys. So, I expanded my work as a Pantarei Approach Practitioner (2017), integrated systemic coaching and non-violent communication strategies, and enriched my practice with the wisdom of yoga and insights from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
A special interest of mine has always been working with trauma, personal and transgenerational. I trained online on Trauma First Aid with Dr Peter Levine (2020), alongside extensive and ongoing reading. More recently, I completed a Neuroscience Coaching Course (2025), which complements my experience with the latest scientific insights. I am currently very excited about adding a new layer of working with bodies and energies by studying ThetaHealing (2026).
But most of all, I learn from my clients. Their life stories, unique strengths, and drive to live a fulfilled life are inspiring, surprising, impressive, and immensely powerful. When they begin to reconnect to their wisdom, experience, and power, nothing is impossible - true magic unfolds.
Today, I live with my teenage son, our extended family, and our feisty four-legged friend, “Elvis the Dog,” in Oxfordshire. Rooted in Berlin, London, and Portugal, I am grateful to share my experience and knowledge with people across Europe. It is humbling to work with curious, creative, and courageous individuals and to learn about their lives, experiences, and dreams.
My childhood dream has come true: I now have a profession that helps me make the world a bit of a better place.
